It is both an honor and a humbling moment to receive the official invitation from the United Nations to participate in the prestigious World Peace Conference 2025, scheduled to be held from 12th May 2025 at the UN Headquarters in New York City.
As a humble servant of peace and a military officer representing the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, I see this invitation not as a personal recognition alone but as a symbol of Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to peace, dialogue, and global cooperation. The theme of this year's conference, “Bridging Nations, Building Peace,” resonates deeply with our mission at the Central Peace Committee for Interfaith Harmony—to foster understanding among diverse communities and to silence the drums of conflict through dialogue, respect, and unity.
In a world often shadowed by division and misunderstanding, platforms such as this remind us that peace is not a distant dream but a collective responsibility. It is through such global conversations and cooperation that we move closer to a harmonious tomorrow.
I look forward to contributing to this noble dialogue, representing not just Pakistan but the collective voice of those who believe in the power of peace.
