Matric Board Introduces E-Marking System for Ninth Class Mathematics Paper
A Step Towards Digital Assessment
Implementation of E-Marking for Annual Exams 2025
Karachi – The Controller of Examinations for the Secondary Education Board, Zahiduddin Bhutto, has announced that a new E-Marking system will be introduced for the 2025 annual exams for class IX and X. However, for now, this system will be implemented only for the Ninth Class Mathematics Paper 1.
Training Workshops for Teachers
To facilitate this transition, the Board has organized special training workshops on the use of E-Marking and OMR (Optical Mark Recognition). Expert teachers from various subjects have been trained to assess and evaluate exams using this digital system.
Guidance for Students
The Board has urged teachers to guide and educate students about this new system. To assist them further, the Board has uploaded an instructional video on its official website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel, explaining the E-Marking and OMR process in detail.
