A Meaningful Interaction: Dr. Zafeer Siddiqui Meets Additional Director FIA Sindh South Zone Karachi

Interfaith harmony and social cohesion are crucial pillars for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. As Vice President of the Central Peace Committee of Interfaith Harmony (Government of Pakistan), I, Dr. Zafeer Siddiqui, remain committed to fostering dialogue and collaboration across all sectors of society. In this spirit, I had the distinct honor of meeting Mr. Robin Yamin, Additional Director FIA Sindh South Zone Karachi (PSP), during a significant interaction this noon.

Meeting with Sindh Minister for Local Government: Addressing Public Concerns

On the evening of 5th October 2022, a key meeting was held to address various public issues faced by the community of District South Karachi. I, Dr. Zafeer Siddiqui, along with other esteemed representatives, participated in this critical dialogue with the Minister for Local Government Sindh, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah.

During the meeting, the primary agenda was to bring various public concerns to the Minister's attention. Issues such as:

Infrastructure Development: Addressing poor road conditions, drainage systems, and urban planning concerns within District South.

Provision of Basic Amenities: Ensuring water, electricity, and healthcare services reach all communities equitably.



Waste Management: Finding long-term solutions for the effective disposal and management of waste to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

Community Safety: Enhancing safety and security measures in vulnerable areas.


The Minister was receptive to these concerns and shared a number of initiatives his department was pursuing to tackle them.
